24 Hours of Baseball and Fathers

The only thing more of a blessing and a curse than being a Nats fan is Fatherhood. I say this in only the nicest way possible and having experience at being both. I am sure there are plenty of Nats Fans who would agree with me and to them, the NQ extends a warm and baseball filled Happy Father’s Day.
There is just something about the sport and Fatherhood that go hand-in-hand. I really can’t put it into words, but I will put it up in a photo. The photo above is really what the sport of baseball is all about. This is four generations of the DangerNat Family: (L to R) Gramps, Dad, Myself, and my daughter, all attending the May 24th game against the Orioles at Nationals Park. It was my daughter’s first ball game.
Really, that picture can describe it a whole lot better than I can type it.
Plenty to talk about from our trip to the Park last night during Blogger’s Night. I got stories, photos, quotes, etc. that I am sure several other Nationals Blogs have already posted in various ways, but as you know, the NQ has it’s own little flair going that you will get no where else. Plus those other blogs don’t have to drive six hours back to North Carolina.
After spending some time with my daughter, making sweet, sweet cookies with my wife, and doing some DAD things, I will start throwing it all up on these very pages. It might take me some time, but bear with me.
As in “Papa Bear.”
